The first day of school begins for many students this week and throughout August. We are ready! Origami Owl launched its fall catalog and it includes Amazing back to school necklaces including lanyards for the teachers! Origami Owl has three overarching themes this year in it’s fall collection; crystal jewel tones, celestial magic, and the carnival.
Crystal Jewel Tones
First, we have our jewel tones collection. Jewel tone colors are the biggest trend in jewelry this year. Origami Owl’s jewel tone look begins with a stainless steel large locket finished in gunmetal, which is a dark grey metal finish. We used Swarovski Crystals to get the jewel tone look! Blue Zircon, Fuchsia, Purple Velvet, Emerald and Scarabaeus Swarovski Crystals. This large locket is available in a large wrap bracelet option or our standard large twist locket option. The lockets hold approximately 7- 10 charms (depending on size.) Match the locket with a purple double genuine leather wrap bracelet to complete the look. There are also hoop earrings (not shown) to match.
Celestial Magic
Next, there is a celestial trend this season. Moons, stars and the year to Dream Big! What girl doesn’t love a little sparkle? How about a ton of sparkle? Again, we have lockets made with stainless steel and finished in silver and black. Our sparkle effect is a process called diamond dusting or sand blasting, which creates delicate facets in the stainless steel to allow the light to refract an create SPARKLE! You will see star sliders and moon dangles with Swarovski crystals this season as well. Perfect for back to school necklaces. Slide the star slider on the wrap or thread a chain through it to make a cool simple back to school necklace!
Life is a Carnival
Finally, Life really is a balancing act and can sometimes be like a carnival with tons of zoo animals running around. We have fun charms this season representing the 80s with the cassette tape and the giraffe, lion, bear, and balloon dog to bring the carnival to life. Remember to relax and not work too hard.
